QT with family :)

One month sounds long enough but believe me, it is not.
I still have lot of exciting things to catch up with mom and sibs :)

Well actually, we were never a sort of family that aspired to expensive trips.
Our vacations were thorough, sobrang simple pero enjoy...it's because we're together and WE ARE FAMILY :)

I'll try to summarize how I spent blissful days with them :)

1. Find ways how to appease my 64 years old mom who complains everytime I leave the house :)

So, I tried to stay at home during weekdays and did the house cleaning. And more frequently than not, I cooked to impress her :) Buti at hindi ako pumalpak sa "embutido" ko :)

with Inay, known as "Ka Juling"

2. Witnessed how big my sister was during her pregnancy and pleased her to give me these shots :)

Don't be fussy Ate Dori, almost all pregnant women has gotten their nose larger than normal..oki?

3. Welcome a new angel in our family :)

A day before my flight when my sister had caesarian delivery. I stayed overnight at the hospital and rush to airport the next morning. That same day too, I hurried up packing my things. Then how is that?! Tsk!
Aianna Dorithy Silva Briones, born on May 8, 2011
I miss Aianne :(

4. Visita Iglesia.
Visited 7 churches in Lipa city, attended mass and procession.
No pictures allowed...sacrifice and repent daw muna sabi ni mudra :)

5.  Movie and food trip with my nephews and nieces :)

I am very happy to see them growing though it's a sign that I get older :)
That day, I felt how it feels like to be a kid once again. Thanks kiddos!

6. Kulitan moments with my niece, Alexa Jairah :)
She lives with my brother's in-laws in Manila so we only see her occassionally.

"Tita Maldita", this is how she calls me. It's not true! taas-kilay. hehe!

7. Photo with the joker, my Kuya Arles :)
He doesn't trust my cooking abilities but he always get bloated. Ansama mu! :)

(was not able to take photos with Ate Olive and Gboy, my other sibs)

8. Had some photos taken with fabulous cousins :)
kim, i think you look older than us...really, you are. haha!

with super kind sheryl and super ewan na si kim :)

cousin Kim and Toti of Canada (we're all available haha!)

9. Chikahan with aunties, sila ang mga istambay sa bahay namin :)
Grabe, hindi na sila naubusan ng pagkukwentuhan (or I call it tsismis)

Mama Cora, Tita Belen, Mami Itang & Inay
10. Lastly, we visited our Tatay who is very happy for ten years now with God...

It's Father's Day today, kaya Maligayang araw ng mga Ama sayo MAHAL NAMING TATAY!
We miss you :)

Btw, I am a daddy's girl :)

I wish I have captured all the happy moments but unfortunately I've missed two events :(

- Baby Aianne's Christening

See you baby on your 1st birthday

- Family outing which is every last Sunday of May

Vacation is over!
Time flies sooo fast when your having fun :(

Remembering  Nuvali :)
April 30, 2011

Meeting new people is exciting...it is like going to places you haven't been.
It's my first time in Nuvali and it's one on my list to visit, actually. I wanted to experience the lake breeze,
the water taxi, the bazaar and the kois but we came late, so hopefully next year maulit :)

When I knew about the plan, I can't deny that it isn't just the handshaking that bothered me
but the saying, "first impression lasts". This probably one of my weaknesses, I care what people
may say about me (sometimes). Bear with me, I am not used it and not introduced for a long time.

Even so, be myself is enough.

To make a long story short, it all started with Gilbert, my friend in Samsung. He introduced me to William thru his officemate Tine. Tine is Kiko's wife and William is his friend (haba ng link hehe)

Gilbert and I went together to Nuvali as we both from Lipa. He actually seemed my date that night haha! Hatid-sundo ako sa bahay. Gentleman ka ha,
but thank you :)

We had a simple dinner at Conti's followed by a cup of coffee at Starbucks :)

with Bert, Ivy & Tine

It was my first time to meet Ivy, Tine & Kiko...
they were cracking jokes and smiling a lot which makes me feel comfortable.
Undoubtedly, they are nice people.

Thank you sa inyo :)

soon to be couple Gilbert & Ivy ??? & real couple Tine & Kiko

they are officemates...ang kulit nila esp Ivy :)

Kiko (Tine's wife) and William, sila talaga yung friends.

they (Bert, Ivy and William) are godparents of Kiko and Tines's baby :)

Si  Willam, ang may pakana ng dinner na eto :)
happy us :)

Disclaimer (haha!): Sounds cheezy but NO, he is a friend.
Reason for dinner: "Just to meet up" (sabi nya hehe)

want me to describe you, William?
that's another story, another blog perhaps :)

That night was not a memorable one but the thought that I was invited sweeten things up...
You know why, as we talked few days after the dinner.

Nevertheless, I appreciate the effort and the treat.
Thanks Yam! :)

Second Homecoming...Part 2!

Second Stop: Lovely Boracay (April 16-18, 2011)

the white beach

Spell S.A.B.I.T... A.K.O. lang naman yun :)

But who would not want to spend summer in the
most famous beach in the Philippines?
No one, I suppose.

And it seems that everyone has gone to Boracay except me :(

One morning, Ruby (friend from Samsung) and I,
was exchanging hello's in email, when she said that they
are going to Bora on the following month.

So here I go, I invited myself :)
I remember, that same week, I bought myself a ticket.
And that, I think makes me a certified "atat". haha!

Anyhow, I am pretty sure that I am welcome :)

@ Crystal Cave

Running after the promo fare, I got my booking a day after their flight...and yes, I will travel "alone" to Caticlan. One way lang naman, kaya Kaya ko 'to! :)

But after a week of fooling myself, I can't help but to ask someone to go with me.
And, I know who, ang babaeng gala syempre, si Glenn :)

my friend Glenn (Sabit # 2)

my friend William, our photograher

Since the lovely sweethearts has a new DSLR,
I got lazy of taking photos and started posing, instead :)

my friend Ruby

Last summer, we went to  Puerto Prinsesa, Palawan and I was literally black when I came back in Dubai.
My officemate,  Sir Emil (HR Officer) repeatedly saying "ang panget mo pala pag maitim". Though, its a half meant joke, I never quite recovered since.

The thing is, lesson learned...I am not white that I can stay long in the beach or have sun tanning :)

But of course, I must experience this tiny white sand of Boracay.
Just so, Glenn and I enjoyed swimming every night and early in the morning.

Silly jokes, I've heard none :)

wala lang :)
thank you sa nagbigay ng bag :)

with Belchy & Midgey, Ruby's cousins

If you love nightlife, Boracay is a place to be...its lively and colorful...a lot of things you can do...
You can catch a public show of fire dances, have some drinks (though a bit pricey),
listen to your prefer music or just simply walk around ...

White nights @ Bora :)

enjoyed reggae music for two nights

Needless to say, I love this Bora Trip... I really just can't get over!
I shall return :-)

a trip without jump shot is not complete :)

Second Homecoming...

favorite pose? (as if stolen)

A girl like me who "worked" hard deserves a break! :)

Luckily, we are given a round trip ticket yearly in DOKA.
So prior to my vacation, I set places where I want to go, think of people I want to meet and list the foods I want to eat.

And this is one my adventures...

First Stop: Bolinao, Pangasinan
(April 10-11, 2011)

with Glenn @ Bolinao Falls

Jet lag is a fairly common problem among people but fortunately not for me. Right then, the next day, I travelled 6 hours from Manila. Good thing, I have mastered sleeping wherever I am :)

Past 6am when we reached the place. Energy lost! But we had to follow the iteneraries kasi sayang naman.

Here are some places we have visited :)

Island Hopping @ Hundred Islands with Dhang, Glenn & Bheng

@ Bolinao Lighthouse                                          at di pedeng hindi, Jump shot

not-so-secret wish, I want to be a model someday?
(etchoserang froglet lang po hehe)

Inspite the tiredness, we keep good postures :)
ganto talaga kami, picture addicts eh!
model-modelan,  winner kami ni dhang dyan :)

Anyway, let me introduce to you my lovely friends.
I've worked with them in Novartis, way back 2001.

They are my constant date, chatmates and tripmates :)
Si Glenn, Bruno's girlfriend in her magical world haha!
Reyna ng dedma but still, we love her :)
Si Beng, Maria Clara's twin sister.
pretty na, ambait pa :)
Si Dhang, listener and adviser,
we have the same sentiments of love maybe

Eto na, excited nako makauwi...yet Glenn and I dropped at Landmark,
bought some stuff for our next escapade, it's Hello Boracay next week :)

lunch @ Dencio's in Tarlac

It's such a long and tiring road trip but we all had fun.
And to us, including Eloi. Cheers! Cheers to our lifetime friendship!
Love you guys!
