Dear Mr. Friend!

Two weeks ago, I've thought of a letter along with my "Good Luck" gift to a friend.

Unfortunately, I was unable to meet the deadline... I was thinking too that we barely know each other

that we don't have to go beyond words.

But because I feel writing tonight, I will use the opportunity to figure out things.
I hope that I can tell him everything I've always wanted, so I will take it slow :)



Lets begin on how it is living apart from family...well, to live in a strange country is a struggle.
I tell you, it is truly uneasy. I was one of those OFW's who was longing for home and experienced homesickness. Thank you Lord that gone are the days when I was crying almost every night.



And thank you Lord for giving me friends who are there to  comfort, to laugh, and to make memories with. Without them, I would not make it through the day.  They are my cure :)

To my Girlfriends, you are too many to mention  :)



In this case, I will just specify a remarkable person I've met two years ago, called Superfriend :)

why I said so, because he is ...



1. PROTECTIVE...fetch and accompany from/to home consistently
    (kahit na anlayo ng nilalakad nya pauwi hindi sya nagsawa)
2. CARING...asks how's my day, if I am okay, if I got home or if I have eaten (sweet-sweetan)
3. HELPFUL...brings my heavy groceries and fixes anything I asks (helper o boy na nga dating)
4. THOUGHTFUL...gives me gifts with or without reasons (little surprises lang naman)
5. PATIENT...says sorry even if its my fault sometimes (di daw nya ako matiis)
5. LISTENER...when I am upset, he find ways to make things better (pero hindi sya advicer)
6. GIVER...gives me the decision to choose like food or place to go (ako boss nya, sya naman ang boss ko)
7. GENEROUS...oftentimes it's his treat (pa-gentleman kahit umaawit na ng "im broke but I'm happy")
8. CHEERFUL...makes me happy in his simple ways (medyo korny nga lang ang jokes nya minsan haha!)
9. GOD FEARING...we go to mass together (aspiring priest kasi kaya ambait)

10. LOVING...accepts me inspite of (kahit awayin ko, andyan parin)

Literally, those I have listed above are advantages of befriending a guy.
The only disadvantage I see is when one of you is committed. No matter how you well define the "friendship" and set your boundaries, hindi pa rin sya ganun kadali.



Moving on, our friendship surpassed the test and that is because he remained faithful.
Sorry for the times that I didn't listen, I was tough, I was conceited and I almost give up...Yet, I hope I have justified myself as a friend...Pasensya na, natural na saken ang mag-inarte :)



Obviously, this guy gave me a lot of reasons to miss him. I don't know if I would be as happy as I was, two winters ago without him. That whenever it rains in Dubai, I will remember a guy singing like Neil Sedaka :)


As we always say, sanayan lang ang lahat :)

Besides, we know the fact that this time will come :)

Again, I want to thank him for taking care of me and for making me soooo special :)
All  the memories we have shared, from kulitan to serious talks will be cherished in my heart. 
He have done so much....How I wish I have shown and done things the same but he know's the reason why I can't...

WE ARE FRIENDS...when one forgets, one shall remember, NOT TO CROSS THE LINE :)
